Palace Masquerade Ball!!!

The Masquerade Ball held at the palace is now starting! Have fun!!!

I strolled into the masquerade, my eyes never leaving the blue-haired maiden. I looked at her, smiled, and wandered off into the buffet, lifting my helmet's mask and began to munch on assorted cheeses and bread.

The "blue-haired maiden" slipped away to her rooms to go change, saying a quick "Be right back."

"Hmm...It started finally..." A man with combed hair, and a white dress shirt with black pants walks in. "My...this is impressive." He walks around and starts talking with some people.

When the king returned, he was wearing a black and red stripe shirt, a brown fedora hat, a wicked looking claw on his right hand, as well as a mask that made him look absolutely ghoulish, thus giving him the exact look of Freddy Krueger. At this point, the only thought in his mind was Whoo boy, Tia is going to kill me for this...

He simply grinned like a kitten, and continued to eat cheese.

The man saw a person who looked to be some frightful fellow. He puts on a black mask and hides his hands in his pockets, which were holding two small daggers. He watched the man silently but still talked with some of the guests. He kept an eye on him though.

This'll end hilariously. He thought, and sat back on a seat to watch it all unfold.

Okay, now... Time to scare people silly! Emrik smiled, which just made him look evil and murderous, and started to sneak up on the person he was closest to. When he was close enough he lifted his frightful claw. Okay, as soon as he turns 'll yell to scare the hell out of him!

Inu sat quietly in a chair, watching all the others walking around and eyeing each other. 'Hm?' Inu thought, getting up and walking to the buffet and getting some water.

"Blargh!" Emrik yelled as Inu turned around. He even bared his teeth and made a swiping motion with his claw.

Lady Tia entered the room. There wasn't a trace of blue hair anywhere.



Along with her mask (above), she wore a black dress rimmed with gold and red. At the skirt part of the dress on the right hand side, was a hand stitched gold dragon, that resembled Speedrain. Ah, Maude has great talent for dress making.

Inu walked towards the bathroom, disappearing for about 5 minutes and coming out in a white gown with this mask: [/img]. She walked over to a chair and sat down with her glass of water, sipping it casually.

A young man with silver hair walked into the Masquerade Ball. His mask was half black and half silver, covering the upper half of his face. Gemstones that served as an "eyebrow" were on the left side of his mask. He was dressed like a prince, in black and silver.

He spotted a girl with brown hair and hazel eyes standing across the huge room from him. He'd know that girl anywhere, for he always seemed to sense her presence if she was near him. It didn't matter if she was disguised, or dressed up. He walked over to her, and when he was standing directly in front of her, he winked and then bowed. "Milady, why is a beauty like yourself standing all alone? May I stand here with you?" Taking her right hand gently, he lifted it to his mouth and kissed it. He whispered her name, "Tia"

Lady Tia's face flushed at the young mans actions. Of course, she knew who he was. His hair gave him away, and those eyes... She was looking straight into two different colored eyes, one orange, one silver. The Silver Rogue, of course it's him... I'm surprised he even showed up.

Glancing around, Lady Tia noticed that several people were staring at her and her companion. She shifted uncomfortably. "I'd be delighted to have you as a companion... So, why is a person such as yourself at a masquerade?"

Bah, not even phased... He thought, disappointed with his failed scare attempt.
He then decided to stand in a corner of the room, grinning evilly and tapping his claws on his shoulder.

The young man grinned. "Why indeed." He threw a smile Lady Tia's way. The silver Rogue noticed a cute cat-girl turn around to a mischievous person. It must be the King. He's one of the only ones daring enough to test Lady Tia's patience. But, it doesn'look like she cares right now...

Sir Daniel went into the place where the Masquerade Ball was. He had on a dark red suit, a black top hat, and a dark red mask with black outlined eyes and black lips. With him, he carried a cane with a handle that looked like a rose. Ironically enough, he carried a bouquet of red roses in the other hand.

When he had spotted a silver haired young man, he saw the girl next to him. Ah, that must be Lady Tia. I mean, who else would stand next to the Silver Rogue and not be bothered? Walking up to Lady Tia, he held out the roses. "Hey... Err, these are for you. Please take them..." Sir Daniel's eyes flickered between Tia and the Silver Rogue.

As the party goes on, a man makes an appearance through the ballroom doors. Everyone looks to this strange man but no one knows him. His appearance is a all black apparel complete with a black armor and helmet as if he was ready for battle. His face cannot be seen as it's completely covered. He is accompanied by two men with the same armor but prefer to stay outside and stand guard.

Inu watched as the man entered and blinked, looking around for a moment then getting up and walking to the buffet and grabbing something to eat.

The man walked over to Sir Ryan.
"Are you Sir Ryan."

"Surprised to see me Captain?" He winked and started looking around. "First time im not in a cloak and first time i've been to a ball"

"Captain? I'm sorry you must be mistaken. I'm Lt. Commander Alexander, 1st Officer of Captain Le. I've been ordered to give you this."

As Lady Tia accepted the bouquet of roses from Sir Daniel, the Silver Rogue glared at the young knight. He didn't like that smile Sir Daniel had on his face as he hugged Tia. Sir Daniel had looked straight at the Silver Rogue with eyes that clearly said "you aren't going to be winning her heart".

The Silver Rogue had a scowl on his face, but by the time Tia turned to face him again, he had a sweet smile in place. Sir Daniel didn't leave. That was clearly a challenge in his eyes. Not to fight... but... to dare to step up and win Tia over. Hmph.. If he's daring me... then I'm going all out.
