Something's Wrong in the Palace!!! 5/22/09-? D:D

Everyone, this is the event that we've more or less been arguing about. So yeah, I hope you all find the chance to come online here, and participate! Starting of the event is today, Friday, May 22nd, 2009. The end of the event will be.... Who knows?! ;P

Lady Tia was going through pattern dances with her glaive in a courtyard by herself. She felt uneasy, but she chose to ignore it. Nothing felt right these days; Lady Tia always felt like she was being watched by a person that was getting ready to pounce. Now, how right she was, she would soon find out....

A royal messenger came running past the courtyard in a hurry, only to stumble and run back to the courtyard where Lady Tia was. "Milady! Someone at the gate told me to give this letter to you!... But I don't know who it was, the person was cloaked.. Sorry, I failed you."

This caused Lady Tia to turn to the messenger in surprise. "Ah, you didn't do anything wrong. Sigh, might as well see what this is. Here, take this and run along now." She gave the messenger a gold noble, and he went scurrying away. Thump. That uneasy feeling was more intense now. Opening the letter, she read:

Some say the world will end in fire,
Some say in ice.
From what I've tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire.
But if it had to perish twice,
I think I know enough of hate
To say that for destruction ice
Is also great
And would suffice.

It wasn't signed, but as Lady Tia went through the letter again, a weird smelling smoke came out of the scroll. A few seconds later, Lady Tia crumpled to the ground, the letter forgotten and on the ground as well. As she lost consciousness, she felt hands take a hold of her, and the everything went blank. The person who had taken a hold of her got her out of the palace unnoticed, and dragged her away... Far away. (Within the maps' limits!)

EVENT START!

"Damn for a little girl, she sure is heavy..." The cloaked figure cried in agony as he carried Lady Tia in his arms. The figure's voice was soft and gentle, yet somehow still had a spark of excitement in it. His voice seemed persuasive, as if after hearing it just once you would be enveloped in it's warm and inviting aura. The figure, clad in a maroon cloak, trek down a deep winding path, another figure following him close behind.

"Stop your whining, it'll be not that far ahead." The other cloaked figure scowled back at him in disgrace. In contrast to the other voice, she spoke as if needles made of ice were stabbing her, cold and cruel. She was dressed in a mysterious dark blue cloak, keeping herself hidden from the rest of the world.

Finally stopping, the red cloaked figure lay down the girl and sighed. "You know, sometimes I wonder if this is the right thing to do. What will we do when the King finds out?" Taking down his cloak, he revealed himself as no other than the Bandit King himself, Burning Tiger. "What are you doing?! We still have a long way to go. And besides, I told you already, Tiger. I won't say anymore until we get to our destination. now pick her up and lets get moving, you lazy ass. " The girl sighed as she too rested her cloak down.

"Feisty as ever. But what would you expect from Sparrow..." Tiger muttered under his breath to himself as he picked their hostage up and started after Sparrow in a hastily movement.

Following the two figures was another cloaked figure. He was hidden in shadow. He watched them carry Lady Tia away. "Hmph, Sparrow and her friend." He jumped down to meet them. He did not draw any weapons. "Where are you taking her, eh Sparrow?" He kept a playful look on his face.

While Lady Tia was being carried off, a person that looked exactly like her waltzed into the palace, humming. Two black clouds outlined in gold were her earrings, while the rest of her ensemble were black as well. Her long blue hair and hazel eyes were the only difference. She had a cold smirk on her face, as she inspected her surroundings.

As a matter of fact, this girl was Lady Tia's identical twin sister, Tara, but right now that's not the point. The point is, is that she and Lady Tia were separated at birth, thought to have died as a baby in the infirmary where they were born. Tara was taken by a young woman, and the baffled healers didn't know how to explain a disappearance of a newborn baby, so they had told her parents that she had died. So she was raised by that woman, away from Levra.

By now, Tara had reached Lady Tia's rooms. Oh yes. I shall enjoy playing the role of my dear sister. Very, very much. What fun this will be~

Almost stumbling onto the dirt, she quickly recovered and sharply cocked her head to the voice's direction. Of course Sparrow had no need to look at him, for by the sound of his voice she knew who it was. "Sir Ryan." Sparrow's voice commanded. She spoke his name as if she was spitting. A curse. An omen. Shaking him off, she laughed, turned around and kept walking.

Tiger quickly placed his hand on the dagger placed on his side. He had heard of this Sir Ryan before, but never had the chance to see him in person. Grinning, he readjusted Lady Tia to fit her over his shoulder and, with his free hand, started to pull out his signature dagger. Sparrow shot a quick glare at him. Muttering under her breath she spit out, "It's not worth it. Keep going." Quite confused at what Sparrow's intentions were, he slide the dagger back into its original position and kept walking.

Tiger walked for a bit then turned around to face Ryan. Grinning, he teased him. "The little you know, the better." Sparrow scoffed at Tiger's action, but said nothing.

"Well Sparrow, this is quite a surprise. Where do you think you are going? Mind if I tag along? After all, I did give you the knockout powder." He produced another bag full of the powder. "So where are we going?" He put away the bag and pulled out his sword. "And you might need some help, I heard there might be a searching party in the woods."

Meanwhile, back at the palace, Crove waltzed inside, for he had to talk to his friend, Duchess Miracle. A strong breeze blew a piece of paper into his face. It was some kind of strange poem, that sent shivers down his spine, and made the little hairs on the back of his neck stand up. The paper smelled pretty funny. He considered taking it to Sir Namort to look at, and decided to bring it to him after his visit with Duchess Miracle.

Making his way to the infirmary, a door burst open to his left. It turned out to be Lady Tia. She didn't acknowledge him in any way, but instead she shoved past him. That little touch sent an electric seeming jolt through his body. It made his chest hurt. What kind of feeling was that? He stiffened when Lady Tia realized he was there. Crove would never forget the look on her face for the rest of his life. It had shown such hatred and cruelty, mixed with jealousy, that he actually stepped back in fright and ran away to the infirmary. He slammed the door behind him.

[[Hey hey hey we're all big kids here, right?]]

Sick and tired of Sir Ryan's poor attempts to tag along on this "adventure", Frozen Sparrow couldn't take it anymore. She stopped dead in her track and sharply turned around. Her cloak seemed to freeze to ice and break into pieces that fell on the trail. Wielding her longsword in her dominant hand,, she pointed it at the enemy and shouted, "Stay out of this. " Her voice was commanding and meant trouble. Ushering Tiger to keep going, she gave him the look that meant 'I'll meet you there, keep going'.

Burning Tiger nodded in acknowledgment and kept going. Trying not to fear for his companion, he wondered what would he do if Sparrow got injured. Or worse. He shuddered and suddenly his chest hurt for a second. Shrugging it off, he held Lady Tia and cradled her in his arms, just like a lover would. Looking into her eyes as he trekked, he realized that she really was pretty. The perfect Bandit Queen. He shuddered for a minute and shook those feelings away. What are you doing, Nicholas, she's the enemy, your hostage! This is not a time to be flirtatious, you know! His inner self raged at him.

He decided to run by shadows and follow quietly. He kept out a crossbow. He saw a band of armored Crown Soldiers. He shot the back soldier. He also jumped down and send to Sparrow, "There is a band of soldiers ahead." He drew a dagger and quietly went back to the shadows. It was time for a little fun.

Sighing, Sparrow knew that at least something like this would happen once. Hoping that Tiger saw them as well, she turned her head to Ryan. "Watch my back and I'll watch yours."

A little bit up the hill, he heard the scream of a man as he fell to the floor in agony. "Cra-" His words were caught short as he dodged an arrow blown at him. Quickly making his way into the shadows, he pulled Lady Tia closer to him than ever, as if to shield her from both danger and the warriors.

"Whatever, Sparrow" He ran to the soldiers in shadow and sliced a man's neck open. He smiled a menacing smile. This just gets better and better. He goes into the shadows again and hides in a tree holding a crossbow. All was going to plan. He kept in mind that he was to not harm Sparrow, Tia, Sparrow's friends, and this Lady called Tara. His orders, surprisingly, came from Tara herself. How she found his place he will never know. He shook the thoughts from his mind and started firing on the soldiers.

[[[*eye twitch* Omg s**ual harrassment from Burning Tiger O_o Lol, jk. XD. And idk, ARE we big kids now?!]]]

Lady Tia was still unconscious, the drug being too powerful. She shivered. It was warm outside, but she felt cold. Lady Tia's temperature was rising, turning into a fever. Struggling to get to consciousness, a force dragged her back into the deep levels of her mind.

She dreamed that a black fire swept across the lands of Corpavale, and wiped almost everything and everyone out. But born from the dark burned ground came Dark Ravens. They hid themselves as people began to rebuild their precious kingdom. When the kingdom began to flourish once again, the Dark Ravens revealed themselves and wreaked havok throughout the land.

By now, Lady Tia's temperature was at least 105 degrees F; way past the temperature of the outside air.

In an empty courtyard in the palace, Tobe found a glaive. It looked really familiar for some reason to him. His eyes widened in shock when he realized that this glaive belonged to none other than Lady Tia. ...But why would Lady Tia leave her favorite weapon in the middle of a courtyard...? Ehh, oh well. Might as well put this back in her rooms.

When Tobe entered Lady Tia's rooms, Lady Tia was about to go out. "Where are you going, milady? Here's your glaive, you left it in the middle of one of the courtya-" He faltered when he saw the menacing glare that Lady Tia gave him.

"It's none of your business where I go. Who do you think you are? And you can just throw that piece of junk away, I have no use for it whatsoever. And I didn't leave it. I abandoned it. Hpmh." Lady Tia pushed Tobe out of the way, and left.

There's something wrong here. She's never hostile like that, and there wasn't even an ounce of playfulness in her eyes. Why would she abandon her glaive...?!

[Lady Tia, Location: unknown]

Further deeper into the dream Lady Tia steps on to a misty battlefield where two armies prepare to clash. On one side stand the darkness of unknown horror while the other side stands the Knights of Corpavale and with them a mysterious Knight bearing a strange crest on his armor. He is seen clad with white clear armor with a great sword in one hand and a shield in the other. As the armies prepare to charge, Lady Tia finds herself in the middle of the battlefield so she attempts to run towards the Corpavalian Knights. Unfortunately the darkness sent agents to capture her and surrounded Lady Tia. She attempts to draw her Glaive but realizes that she dropped it in the courtyard when she was unconscious. Just as the Dark Knights lunge towards Lady Tia, the mysterious Knight of the Corpavalian Army jumps to save her. He urges her to take his horse and flee to her Knights while he fends against the Dark Knights. At first Lady Tia refuses to not leave behind a Knight behind without a means of escape but was later convinced that she is needed, her people needed her and just then the mysterious Knight falls and tells her to find him.....

Tara, disguised as Lady Tia walked around the palace. She had changed into a blood red dress outlined in black, making her look as if she was dressing according to mood. Heheh. These weirdos, are good for nothing, as I thought. But whatt should I do here first?Destroy my sister's reputation? Assassinate the king? Go on a killing spree?... No, I have to leave an impact on these people. Starting with this... Tara walked over to a nearby mirror, and took out a dagger with a sharp blade. Using it, she cut off her long blue hair so that it hung short a few inches above her shoulder.

Duchess Miracle was in the middle of a very unlady-like yawn, when the doors to the infirmary opened, and then slammed shut. She looked up in surprise, only to see that it was Crove. "Ah Crove, nice to see you, what's that ma-" Crove was shaking uncontrollably. He staggered over to the nearest bed and collapsed on it. Duchess Miracle walked over to him, but when she got closer, she heard him saying the word "scary" over and over. "What's the matter, Crove?"

He looked up. "Lady Tia's in a really bad mood today." He looked away.

Sir Namort was in his private rooms in one of the towers. He was drinking a cup of tea when his door burst open. Crove came in flailing his right arm about. There was a paper in his hand. With a sigh, Sir Namort stood up to greet Crove. He was in the middle of a hello, when Crove interrupted him. "Hey, Namort! Take a look at this paper. What does it mean? It's, creepy, it's creeeeepyyy!" Crove jumped up and down frantically. Sir Namort looked away in disdain.

"What the paper means is that if you don't calm down immediately, I will throw you out of my chambers! ^_^;" Sir Namort cracked his knuckles. "Now will you calm down?" When Crove nodded, Sir Namort sat down in his favorite chair. "I'll have to investigate this paper, but I have a feeling that this isn't friendly writing."

[Location: Palace Infirmary]

The door burst open as two priests from the Mithros Temple walked in carrying an unconscious man. Duchess Miracle turns to greet them.

"Sister can you help with this man, he is dire need of medicine. Our best healers in our Temple couldn't find any ailment to help so we brought him here. Please is there anything you can do."

"I will do my best."

As Duchess Miracle examines the man she finds a strange crest on his armor and the right rerebrace.

Grunting as she pulled her weight in this fight, she lunged at a man and sliced through him with her sword. He fell to the floor, saying nothing more. Brushing the hair out of her face, her hazel eyes scanned her surroundings, not seeing any more soldiers. Standing up from her fighting pose, Sparrow stretched for a bit and relaxed as she turned to her newly found comrade. She didn't trust him at all, but he seemed like a useful tool. "How'd you find us?" She asked, curious of his intentions.

[wait so, I don't get it. Can ANYBODY play Crove? And who does Captain Le think he is? =.= Playing all of the characters? Or he just somewhat of a "narrator"?]

I apologize, I just new at this.

[[[ Ahaha, face it, Frozen Sparrow, everyone else is playing other people's parts. And Duchess Miracle gets permission, since she's related to Crove in real life. And I think they were just responding to when Crove mentioned going to the infirmary and to visit Namort.]]]

Lady Tia's dream took a weird course. She had dreamed that she was saved by a knight in white armor, and she didn't even get his name... As she floated towards consciousness, she heard a lot of noise, which just brought her to the surface faster. When she opened her eyes, she was being carried by a young man. She scanned the area with her eyes, only to find Frozen Sparrow... And Sir Ryan?!?!

Sir Ryan answered "Well i saw a cloaked figure walking away with Lady Tia, i decided to follow. Seeing you didnt quite surprise me but i followed to make sure you dont harm her." He looked over at Lady Tia, "Ah, milady is awake." He hid the bloody sword and crossbow. "I'm gonna stick with you guys. You are going to need all the help you can get."

[It's ok, I'm just wondering o__x ]

"Goddam-" She started to say, but was interrupted by Sir Ryan. She looked down to Lady Tia with disgust and a frown. "Go back to sleep, you useless pawn." Sparrow sheathed her weapon and then looked back up to Sir Ryan. She scoffed at his offer. "We don't need your help. Besides, you would just get in the way." She turned her back to them and looked over to Tiger. She ushered him to keep going, and forget about him.

Tiger almost jumped when he saw their hostage awake. He still held her in his arms, but he seemed to hold her tighter when she awoke. "I'm Tiger." He tried to introduce himself, but he felt so awkward. Flirting with a hostage that he himself captured, how more awkward could it get, he thought to himself. He wanted to let her down, but he feared Sparrow's temper.
