Something's Wrong in the Palace!!! 5/22/09-? D:D

As King Emrik wandered the around the Palace looking for people he by a windowed and looked at three suspicious people in identical black uniforms.

Happily, Tara roamed the palace to her hearts content, giving people a careless, easy smile. She didn't know what she would do now, but at the moment she didn't have to worry about her dear sister getting in her way. She would soon be with Sparkele, where she would learn everything.

Strolling down a passageway, a little boy came running her way chasing what looked like a butterfly. Sticking a leg out, she made the boy trip over leg, sending him sprawling to the ground on his behind. He was on the verge of tears, when he managed to straighten himself up. Tara looked down on the little boy, all happiness out of her face, so that she was scowling at him. She walked with a superior air away to "her" chambers.

Captain Le and the Signifiers with him ran into the Palace. Guards that were preventing from passing were subdued(harmlessly). They made their way up to Lady Tia's chambers or should I say Tara's. As the three barged into the double doors they pulled out their weapons from their holsters.

"Lady Tia or should I say Tara, by order of the High Guard you are under arrest under the charges of impersonating Lady Tia, her kidnapping, and being an accomplice of the organization, VORA."

Their weapons were trained on them.

"I don't know what you're talking about. You have no right to be in here. I haven't heard from the King about this. Only the King can give you permission to trespass in my rooms, Captain Le. And my own power and influence is beyond what you can imagine! My name is Lady Tia of Tsivilis, and I stand by that name. Who is Tara, and what is VORA?! And I don't mean to be rude, but GET OUT!"

Signifier Stackhouse shot her and she fell back.

Captain: "What the heck was that Signifier?
Stackhouse: "She was preparing to attack Sir."
Captain: "No she wasn't and you're just trigger happy. That's it no more coffee for you during a mission. Now we go to carry her unconscious body back to the ship."
Stackhouse: "At least she isn't dead."
Captain: "Shut up and help me with her. Signifier Burnett you're on look out. Make sure no one knows we were ever here."
Burnett: "You got it Sir."
Captain: "I can't believe I got into this mess again."

As the four made it out of the Palace undetected [leaving all the guards unconscious again] they left for the Forest of Amskir for the rendezvous with the extraction team.

In fact, Tara wasn't unconscious at all. She was VERY aware of her surroundings. She opened her eyes and glared at Captain Le. "Hey, you! You don't have permission from the King to take me away from the palace! And, you have no evidence that I am not Lady Tia. You-you-you BIG COCKROACH!!!"

Her cloud earrings glowed an eerie light. "Watch and learn, boys~" Tara's wound healed itself, and she stood up. Reaching her hands out to the sky, she laughed, her short hair flying wildly about her face. A gust of wind came down and into the forest, and it started to rain badly. In the next second... She was gone. Disappeared.

Captain Le pulled his hand from the clouds and pulled Tara out of it. Captain Le replied in a deep demonic voice:

Captain: "hm hm hm you know you are really bad at your disappearing act."
Burnett: "Ah crap...Stackhouse the Captains' contract has been reinitialized."
Stackhouse: "What!"

In fact, the Tara that Captain Le had pulled out of the clouds was only an illusion. Tara had really disappeared. She was already back at the palace, discussing with the King and Sir Namort about the treason that Captain Le had just tried to commit.

"An illusion? How amusing hehehe on how Humans have progress after the time of Dragons creation. Signifiers Stackhouse and Burnett, I want you to regroup with the High Guard forces at Mithos Temple. I'll handle the impostor."

Burnett/Stackhouse: "Sir yes sir!"

It was decided that a protection spell be cast over Tara. Sir Namort's spells are next to impossible to break.

[[ Ugh, I wish Frozen Sparrow would continue with her part of the story... Without her part, this part that we're doing right now is pointless...]]

"Alright, so this time it's you who needs protection." Emrik could barely hold back the smile on his face, that is, if he tried to. "So, who's going to talk with Le?"

Tara hugs the King. "Captain Le is scary...!" Tears stream down her face.

Emrik sighed as he hugged her back in an attempt to comfort. "Alright, what do you want me to do about it?"

There were explosions in the background. Carefully targeted areas which causes no harm to the innocents. One man walks towards the Palace emitting a barrier.

???: "It's been centuries since I have walked on this same plot of land."
Captain: "You should really restrict your power levels. You remember what happen the last time you were out of control?"
???: "That was not my fault."
Captain: "Not your fault? You nearly obliterated the entire Triangulum Continent thus almost killing billions of inhabitants!"
???: "If only that power were crucial in The War."
Captain: "Hey, don't go all soft me now. We still have a job to do. Look we approaching the Palace."
???: "Right. You should retreat back to the depths of the barrier where it's safe while I'll take care of this."

The Captain walks up to the Palace entrance doors only to be greeted by Malchiore and Corpavalian Royal Guard.

Tara peered out at Captain Le from behind King Emrik III (Malchiore). Her whole face was an expression of sweetness, but when Captain Le met her eyes, she grinned menacingly at him. After that, she resumed her mask of sweetness.

Hohoho, it doesn't matter if I die now. The real Tia is on her way to Sparkele... Hm. Why do I regret that I won't be able to have the chance to have a real talk with her...? Oh, no matter. If I die, then all would appear to be that Lady Tia was killed by Captain Le and his forces. Nobody will tell the difference. It's even difficult for mages to tell apart people, especially if they have the same DNA. If they were identical twins, it makes it all that much harder.

"I heard that. So a twin, how amusing."

A ethereal representation of Captain Le appeared in Tara's mind with dragon like features.

"Don't bother telling that mage. I am in control of body."

A second ethereal representation of Captain Le appeared only with complete human features. Outside the Captain's corporeal body vanishes.

Sir Ryan was walking out of the infirmary and approachin' the entrance when he saw Emrik, Le, and Lady Tia. He yells, "What's going on?!" He rushes over to the entrance and draws his sword.

As Sir Ryan approaches, Capt. Le vanishes but little do the party knows except Tara that Capt. Le spiritual energy is in Tara's mind completely undetected by almost any forms of Magic.

"Ah, Ryan..." He said, turning around to face his ally but still keeping an arm around who he thought to be Tia. "I don't suppose you'd tell me what's going on?"

"I'm sorry, my liege. I have no answer for what is happening. All I know is that my ally and friend has disappeared somewhere." He sheathes his sword. "Nothing is making sense as of late....I'll check the temple for him. What's wrong with Lady Tia?"

Ryan stills remembers some part of what happen before both him and Captain Le went to the infirmary thanks to his training with Le in the High Guard but the rest was a blur.

"By what I understand, Le has committed an act of treason and tried to kill poor Tia here..." He paused to pet Tara on the head. "I was hoping to get your input on this story."

"Well all I remember was that i was chasing Frozen Sparrow in the Forest of Amskir who was with her friend, the bandit king, and they...were...carrying...LADY TIA?!....Who is this? Lady Tia was unconcious and i was bringing her to the infirmary and she couldn't even move a muscle...WHO IS THIS?!" He pointed accusingly at "Lady Tia".

"Watch your words..." The king's voice suddenly became very cold as he slightly put himself in front of Tara. "I know my champion when I see her." If Emerik ever realized that the person in his arm was not Tia... Boy, would all hell break loose.

"This is getting tiresome. Lets make this more interesting shall we."

The Spirit took control of Tara's body functions and stabbed King Emerik in the back.

[in Tara's voice] "I'm sorry, I though I saw a giant cockroach."
