Meanwhile a man cripples forward and collapses 300 yards from the gate with three arrows in the back and still breathing but laboriously. The man appears to be a courier messenger with the High Guard symbol patched to his left shoulder.

Gragghl.... This was the second time I've gotten my ass handed to me by a bolt of lightning....

I looked up and spat out some blood, the red liquid creating an acidic effect on the floor. This was going to be more annoying than I thought. I took the sandwhich from Lady Tia, and took a bite of it before using the chaos push ability to send her back forcefully onto the others.

"That's the best you've got?"

My hands began to shake, and I passed my hand over the broken disc on my chest. Much to my hopeful joy and their dismay, my disc began to regenerate. It began to spiral outwards, and looked almost parasitic. The disc changed shape, from once a red ring, to a vortex of blood-hued energy.

"Then this is going to be a cakewalk."

I teleported from my place in the entrance of the room to various points, using knockout strikes on most of the guards, then preparing myself for the leaders.

" I will not fight a wounded man or his protector. Consider yourselves lucky for now. But the Rebel Leader, however, you wanna dance the battle tango?

Battletango? What the F*** was that?

Tara shifted around restlessly. She glared at CrimsonEdge. "No, she very well does not! On befalf of Minvilor, I will ask this of you once and once only. Will you please leave immediately? We are not in the mood to deal with you right now."

As the two battle it out articulately the doctors were able to bring Sir Ryan and the Commonwealth courier messenger inside to the infirmary wing. They were put into separate rooms but next to each other. Sir Ryan was put on to a cot while the doctors brought the injured messenger to the surgery wing.

Hours pass while the surgeons meticulously attempts to remove the arrows embedded in his back without the assistance of Duchess Miracle who is unavailable at the time.

In the next room, Sir Ryan steadily gets weaker with every passing moment as the leech sucks and absorbs his life force. His power weakens as so his strength yet still enough to send Lady Tia and Lady Tara a message requesting help. As he begins to lose consciousness a bright white light descends into the room and takes the form of a celestial angelic being with a human appearance don with light-golden robes.

"You are not going to die today my friend. Your destiny requires a great deal more sacrifice for not only yourself but others around you." As he finishes the leech within him starts moving erratically until at the point where it makes a forceful exit from the back stomach area. Sir Ryan as weak as he is can feel the strenuous pain as it slithers out but unfortunately for him he was not able to scream. The angelic being was watching the whole process and it finishes, waved his hand over the leech and disappeared in blue and white orbs. He lifts his hands over the wound and a heavenly golden light glows from them. Sir Ryan felt calm and relaxed as the wound magically closes. As soon as he was finished healing Sir Ryan he backs away into a corner and disappears in a collection of blue and white orbs ascending up through the roof.

Just as the orbs disappeared, a doctor comes in to review what's wrong with Sir Ryan.

Lady Tia walked up to CrimsonEdge again, and handed him a few more sandwiches. "... We have not the will nor the time to fight you, and neither do I. Please leave this place... You are scaring the children as well as the elders and other people. Ah, and tell this to King Almare.. Even if there weren't a conspiracy against him, the citizens of Corpavale will not sit still and let him take over our kingdom. And also.. a rebellion, it's leaders and the citizens are not the only things he should worry about.........." She had let that last sentence trail off in emphasized meaning. "If you have memorized all that, please go."

He looked at the sandwhiches and slapped them away, furious.

" You dare mock me?"

I take knives from my holsters, and throw them at innocent civilians, all of them being mere milimeters away from killing them.

" The only way you make me leave is one of three options. A: Surrender Quietly. B: Destroy my disc. or C: Death."

I bring out my scimitar once again, and smash guards into the walls as I make my way towards the rebel leader.

"I'm not some fatasses' lapdog. You have your choices, now make it. Every moment you dont, the closer a person comes to death."

Something that looked dangerous flashed briefly in Lady Tia's eyes. "You sir, just wasted perfectly good food, you ba-!... Oh no, I almost said something very rude. My apologies."

She paced around the room, lost in thought. Remembering something important, and very important at that, she glanced back at CrimsonEdge. "Need I ask Mithros and the Great Mother Goddess, the rulers of the divine realms to appear here?"

Tara scowled in defiance. "Oh yeah? Not even if the gods are as old as time itself or older? Not even if they rule over all and can toss you aside like a banana peel?" She hmphed and sauntered over to stand beside her sister.

"I'll take my chances to fight the gods who have abandoned my lover."

I ready my stance. No deity or obstacle will stop me from bringing her back. I swore it long ago...

The young woman snarled feral-like at CrimsonEdge, and almost lunged at him before she put herself in check. "The gods will not stop to interfere and save everything. If they did, the world would be more off-balance than it already is. They have to let the inhabitants of our world solve things ourselves. Do you think you are the only one that has lost someone dear to you? Wake up and open your freaking eyes already and welcome to the gosh darn club."

She laughed darkly. "Have you ever heard of the saying 'life isn't fair'? Well there's no way in the underworld that life will ever be fair. Once you think something is fair, another thing isn't..." Tara's eyes flashed sadly before she erased it.

The skies above the land darken. Thunder and lightning begin appearing as it spreads all around for the coming total darkness.

"I had served the gods for decades, and all I get in return are lies and false faith. The gods abandoned me, a faithful soldier, to the very darkness to save their own skin. for thousands of years, I have roamed this planet, finding happiness and having it stripped away by the gods. I will have vengeance. I defied destiny's play, and the very chains that hold up the heavens will break, and their pillars shall crumble. Now kill me, if you dare.

He removed his helmet, and the old warrior that they once knew had become a pale, ghostlike remnant of his past.

Thunder and lightning clash as the deepening darkness expand to the outer reaches of the land.

Oblivious to the remaining inhabitants, the barrier surrounding the land of Corpavale shimmers as it enters the third phase of the Temporal Bomb.

A massive flux of energy initiates the final phase causing the land within the barrier to disintegrate from the barrier's boundaries to the center.

Lady Tia had been quiet. "... What if we do not wish to kill you? Sure, you've been through quite the devilish circumstances. Pain, and suffering... the sorrowful memories. Nobody likes it, but we all go through it some point in our lives....
"Do you really wish for King Almare to be the ruler of Corpavale?" She looked at him with a penetrating calm, sad stare. Then, she gave her sister's shoulder a small squeeze, and a ghost of a smile with the same expression.

Lancers Hope: "The dark clouds above the land were filled with excessive electric energy that they discharge into the ground as a failsafe by the Temporal Bomb. It would be unfortunate for someone to be struck by the current. Even with the best healers like Miracle would take hours if not days to completely heal them.

Some in the skies have so much energy that a large bolt of thunder would be enough to cause a crater the diameter 14000 kilometers."

Captain Le: "Well hopefully nobody gets hit. Continue to monitor the weather's condition. Any slight change notify me immediately."

Lancers Hope: "Aye Sir."

"Then I'll force you to kill me. Maybe then I'll find peace."

I smirk like a demon, and begin my slaughter. Guards, old and young, die in fountains of blood. Innocents who had no buisness being there, were killed in the radius of the attacks. This should get her attention.

It turned out that Lady Tia did not need to call on any of the gods. The Mother Goddess and the Death God appeared and simply brought the innocent people back to life, healing all wounds.

The Death God was amused. "Now now, you know better than to start a massacre. If you want to see your love so much, you should come and live in the divine realms. That is where we let her reside, waiting for you. But if you so much as stick a toe out of line, I'm sure the Mother Goddess would be more than happy to kill you completely."

"The divine realm? I visited your 'Divine Realm' when your wargod son repayed me for a millenium's worth of servitude. All that's there is death and destruction. I had been forced to relive all of my memories of killing, all at YOUR expenses. Death god, Mother goddess. Your sons and daughters I have served for four millenia, and you both two millenium as well. I defended your cities across the world, waging war against your 'heathen' enemies. You told me to kill millions of people, because you deemed them evil because they did not worship you. You had me lead a crusade against innocents, and promised my sins to be cleansed with my wife and child returned. When I finished, you told me to enter the heavens. And when I did, your children seduced me, stripped me of my honor and dignity, and damned me to tartarus. You did not cleanse my sins, or return my family, and damned me when your uses were through."

I raised my weapons, and readied myself.

Lady Tia's coat pocket grew warm. Her attention went to the object inside, and she held it behind her back. She exchanged a knowing look with Tara.

Tia&Tara: He lies. Truthglasses see through lies.

Tia brought out her truthglass from behind her back. It was glowing bright red.

I heard that little insult. They may call me a demon, a destroyer, and a monster, but not a liar. I teleported towards the sisters and snatched the so-called truth glasses and shattered them. Screw King Almare. My vengeance is at hand. Damn all those who deny me my rights.

I leapt high into the air, and teleported the area to the top of mount Kalem, the site where I first took death's oath of servitude. While the gods began their defensive, I launched myself at the death god, sending it through the stained-glass window. Then began the battle of the ages, the resolution of warriors. My scimitar changed once more from the normal forme to the dual blades, chained to both of my arms. The death god released his own weapon, a large scythe, and the battle began. I felt the mother goddess raise a barrier around the innocents, knowing of what this battle could do.

If I won this, I'll be able to bring her back. After three millenia, I'll see her again...

[no offense dude, but you realize that you're dragging the event away from the main point, don't you?]

The Mother Goddess sighed. "I don't know how long it will be until you calm down and be at peace with yourself, but I think I will take my more-than-willing-to-kill-you brother and take our leave." She and the Death God began to shimmer.

"Ah wait. I do believe this setting isn't the right one." The Mother Goddess brang them all back to Fief Minvilor.

Then she turned to Lady Tia and Tara. "As for you too, I think you'll enjoy this gift, no matter how much it will... be of no use in battle. But who knows." She enveloped the twins in a white and pink light. When it was done, the Mother Goddess dragged her reluctant brother away in a pure light.

Now that the gods were gone, Tia burst into a fit of giggles. "Now THAT is interesting."

(It was going to be a plot device for my control to die, and finally help you guys. Srry.)

I felt something change inside of me, and the darkness that once consumed me began to crack. The disc on my chest exploded violently, and I was knocked back into the wall, my armor cracking and revealing the original silver knight.

"What... just happen-Bleeeergh.."
I think I just passed out....

"Yes sister, it is rather interesting." She looked at the Silver Rogue and laughed while clutching her sides, until she had tears running down her face. But when she looked at Tobe, she stopped laughing and cleared her throat, wiping at her face. She could plainly see that Tia was staring at her with eyebrows raised.

Tara looked at the Silver Knight. "... what happened to him..."
