King Almare of Magrar is a b*tch! REBELLIOOOON!!!

Once upon a time, in the Kingdom of Corpavale... Citizens worked, women were raped and the men were caught most of the time, children played, the more rogue bandits raided villages and shops, mages practiced their Gift, knights went on patrol and fought battles, and so on. The typical everyday life. What did you expect, a sappy love story with a happy ending? That isn't what this event is for! At least, the sappy love story part. ANYWAY.

In the middle of the night, when the citizens of Corpavale were fast asleep, and knights were on guard duty at the palace, a hazy mist clung just outside the walls of the palace. In this hazy mist was a foul smelling sparkling powder to captivate the attention of the knights on guard duty. The ones that were affected slumped down, fast asleep. The ones that were not affected, however, saw what lurked in the distance. Mages dressed in dark green robes, were followed by troops. Knights that were unaffected by the mist stared in horror.

Knight1: Oh no, this isn't good!
Knight2: We need to warn the palace.
Knight1: Ah, Lady Tia is coming our way.
Lady Tia: What's happening out here?! The air feels wrong!
Knight1: There are mages in the distance, with at least ten companies of knights behind them. Here, look through this spyglass.
Lady Tia: ... They aren't even bothering any of the villages... Which means...
Duchess Miracle: Which means what, Tia?!
Lady Tia: ... Which means... They're going directly for the palace......
Tobe: *gasps* But, why would they go directly for the palace without taking down the villages and farms?
Knight1: ... They wouldn't need to cause chaos with the citizens if they plan to take over the palace itself.
Knight2: Lady Tia, you better look closer at the robes of those mages... They look familiar.
Lady Tia: *looks through the spyglass* Tch! They're mages from Magrar. As expected of King Almare, to go for the palace itself. *sigh*
Tobe: What should we do, milady?
Lady Tia: ... Their timing is good for them, but not for us. Most of our troops were called out to the borders. Right now, Almare's troops have the upper hand. We're outnumbered right now. Even if we notified the other companies somehow, it would be too late for them to get here to help.
Duchess Miracle: Then the best we can do is evacuate the palace at this time... Right, Lady Tia?
Lady Tia: .. Tobe. Duchess Miracle... Start getting people up. Have them get other people up too and spread the word that the palace is evacuating.
Tobe: How much time do you think we have until Almare's troops reach the palace?
Knight2: I'd say we have about less than an hour. An exact time? 46 minutes.
Lady Tia: Okay. We can make it, and we WILL. Duchess Miracle and Tobe, get started on waking people and tell them the time limit. Gather everyone into the courtyards. There, we will get everyone into groups. Each group MUST have at least 3 mages, and we will send them to VORA locations. Tara probably figured out what's happening by now. She and Sparkele will help get people to safety.
Duchess Miracle&Tobe: Yes, ma'am! *they run off*

Knight1: Milady, what should we do about the rest of our knights that we have here?
Lady Tia: What else? Wake them up. Here. *casts an awakening spell on the palace* ... Huh. I should have done that in the first place... Eh. Gather the Queen's Riders and the knights into the courtyards too.
Knight2: What about the King?
Lady Tia: Get him and bring him to the courtyards. *knight scurries away*

In the courtyards:

King: Mages! Get into groups of three!
Lady Tia: Well, that's settled. Okay, for the rest of you! Gather yourselves into groups no bigger than fifteen, and find a group of mages to join! NOW!
*everyone assembles*
Lady Tia: Okay, everyone! You all will be going to VORA locations. Most of you should know where they are by now, so there should be no problems. You absolutely WILL avoid the massive quantity of troops headed our way. Now, GIT!
King: Whose group am I in?
Lady Tia: Who do you think? Mine. We will be going to a VORA location where Sparkele and my sister are. Duchess Miracle and Sir Daniel will be coming with us.. And who knows why, the Silver Rogue will be joining us too.
King: ... I see. Can I fight?
Lady Tia: Now isn't the time to ask that, but if you must, then you will. If you go and get yourself killed, I'm going to bring you back to life and kill you again myself. Don't doubt that I will. Now c'mon.

After five more minutes, the groups were already safely out of the palace and headed for the VORA safehouses and buildings. King Almare's troops stormed into an empty palace, where they stopped in their tracks in confusion. Searching the palace top to bottom, they found no one, and settled themselves into the abandoned palace. King Almare arrived a little over a week later and began making plans for the Kingdom of Corpavale. He wanted to make life a living hell for the palace refugees, but the citizens were making some noise of their own against King Almare. Almare sent out decrees saying that if anyone from the kingdom of Corpavale defied him, they would be severely punished, along with their families... Thus begins this event...

It's been two years since I've seen Corpvale, and the month I return, feces hit the fan. I had only been here for three weeks, and I noticed something foul enter the air through the night. My friends have disappeared, and the townsfolk were afraid. I needed answers. As I entered the palace, searching for answers, the halls were empty, completely void of life until I reached the throne room to see my old friend King Emrik. To my disdain, I meet King Almare.

"Heathen! Who are you to defile this throne? This Belongs to my friend King Emrik. I want answers or I take your life."

King Almare chuckled evilly.


"So the infamous silver knight graces me with his presence. You are to speak of defilation? The Silver Knight that slew a thousand villagers? You should be the heathen. But I offer you redemption. Join my side, and I'll erase your past."

I growled and readied my swords, watching this creature shift in his seat to an angered state, but his face said otherwise.
What was he planning?

"Speak of that again, and I'll break you in half. I deny your offer. I'd rather die than serve a cowardly conqueror King."

"Oh, but you will serve me. If I cannot persuade you, then your oldest friend will."

I felt a tainted feeling enter the room, and I stared wide eyed at the person who strode to the position by King Almare.

"Greetings, my old friend."

It was my oldest friend, the Green Dragon of the East ,Domon Hayabusa, the descendant of the Ninja Master Ryu Hayabusa.

"Why? Why do you serve this cretin? Surely you must not believe this man can grant you your child back, Domon. This man only offers treachery and deciet."

My hands shook. It was Domon. The brother I fought with and stood beside so many years ago. Something seemed off, however. It was that disc that was attatched to his chest, it reeked of evil...

" I'm not trying to regain her, Silver Knight. I accepted her death. Now all I want is vengeance. Humans are evil, brother. Help us kill them all, to make this world pure once again. Where no one can be hurt, with loss, or death. We will escape death. Join, for my daughter's sake."

My hands shook uncontrollably, I was being affected by this. I grew angry. I made the mistake of charging. I promptly felt a fist hit my chest, and I was knocked across the throne room. I felt the cold bliss of unconsiousness begin to take hold as I notice Domon takes a disc similar to his own, and places it on my chest.

"You will join us.... wether you like it or not,...... Shuyin...."

I felt a rush of dark energy course through me, as the darkness took hold, and I knew no more.

Sir Ryan was just getting back from a "job" when he noticed that Lady Tia was leaving with what looked like the entire palace. He decided to follow. Quick as thought he appeared next to Lady Tia and asked, "What is going on?"

"Ah! Sir Ryan! I didn't think you'd be around here. It's bad. We're evacuating the palace. Everyone is separated into groups and being sent to VORA safehouses and buildings. King Almare of Magrar is taking over the palace, and we have no chance of defeating him right now. I've already notified the other companies of knights to go into hiding for now."

Reaching the Forest of Amskir, Lady Tia stopped in her tracks. "... Hm... This is the easiest and fastest route to get to the where Tara and Sparkele are located. We'll take King Emrik III through here... There's no time to waste." She started off at a run with Duchess Miracle, the King, Tobe, Sir Daniel behind her. The Silver Rogue led the way.

The Silver Rogue led the way through the Forest of Amskir. A bandit came dashing through the trees towards the group. Stopping the group, the Silver Rogue went over to meet the man. After a few minutes, the bandit disappeared into the trees again. The Silver Rogue signaled the group to continue moving. "That was one of my messengers. We're headed for Minvilor now. That's where Sparkele and Tara are located this time. We'll meet them in the town first, and then go to the fief."

Elsewhere, Capt. Le and a High Guard lancer regiment were executing a training exercise in the Tirracorp Mountains while waiting for Cmdr. Ryan to appear for "training." There are also several platoons of lancers in Fort Trollcrush, Fort Avarin, and Flameli Village.

"Milady I'm sorry but this is where we must depart, I have something to do in Tirracorp Mountains. I'll gather reinforcements on my way. Good luck be with you all. Oh and here.."

Sir Ryan gives a mysterious bag.

"Use this only to run and only in time of need. You will know the time when it is needed. Good luck. I'll see you all as soon as possible."

With that Sir Ryan departed to Tirracorp Mountains.

Sir whee hides in a barrel and reads sherlock holmes for the time being? o.o

Three hours into the exercise Sir Ryan arrives to meet with Capt. Le but with great tardiness. Cmdr. Alexander sees Sir Ryan and confronts him.

"Your 3 hours late Commander! If you wish to attain a promotion to Captain you better get your act together."

"Relax Commander. Ryan what's your excuse coming in 3 hours late?" as Capt. Le asked in a calming voice.

Lady Tia stares at the bag Sir Ryan gave her. "........." She continues to walk with her group, but then stops again. "HEY! Did he say reinforcements?!... Ugh, that would have been nice before we left the palace. But now we're sticking the plan that we have now... I better send him a letter."

The letter said:
"Sir Ryan,
Don't do anything reckless. You probably know by now, that the palace and anyone on our side will be starting a rebellion group. Any plans to infiltrate the palace and take it back will be confirmed and decided by the rebel leaders... Be careful."

Bloody Glaive Dragon

"Duchess Miracle, can I borrow your falcon to send this letter? It's important." Lady Tia tied the letter to the falcon's right leg, and the falcon flew off.

Duchess Miracle was in Lady Tia's group, heading for Fief Minvilor. She giggled. "This is pretty exhilarating, is it not? Oh hey, we're almost out of the forest. I've never met Lady Tia's aunt, the infamous Sparkele before. Too bad we can't see her and Tara in a better situation."

Using her elven abilities, she enhanced her hearing to detect any unwanted followers. Sensing none, she sighed in relief.

"Ah sir, my apologies...Corpavale has just been taken over...I had to see Lady Tia. I was also gathering reinforcements."

Just then a falcon appeared and had a note tied to its leg from Lady Tia.

"Hmm....oh damn...too late now..so what do I do?"

Capt. Le contemplates on what Sir Ryan has told him.

"Hmm...this is troubling, but due to protocols. The High Guard cannot intervene into Corpavalian matters as per the agreement with it's King. If they want to deal with the situation within their Kingdom, so be it. The Systems Commonwealth will not interfere. I must stand by my deal with them as a High Guard officer. You, however, were reinstated but haven't begin the new High Guard initiation ceremony and you were and still the Corpavale Palace Spy therefore you can help. Now about these reinforcements."

Capt. Le looked behind Sir Ryan and saw only a few dozen able body men from several villages before he came to the Tirracorp Mountains.

As I awakened from the darkness, I felt a rush of energy course through me. It was euphoric and addicting, like a lover's touch, and empowering like a first kill.

" Arise, my dark knight. Shed your old name as the infamous Silver Knight, and relearn yourself, as the CRIMSON ZODIAC!!!"

I arose from my position, roaring. This power, it was dark, but I must accumulate more. My armor had changed from a sterling silver to a dulled dark red, similar to blood. My mask also changed, from the noble wolf, into the warped version of my soul, the Akuma. I felt my hand reach for my blades, and I coursed my newfound dark power through them. The blades shattered, and they became one single entity, a medium sized Scimitar, then I renamed it to fit my new name.

" My lord, I will serve you now, as the Crimson Zodiac, and my blade, the Lithius Armanitos, will cut down any enemy you choose, my lord.

My lord smiled at me while Green Knight beside him smirked, seemingly jealous and cocky.

" Lord King, may we use this new knight to erase the old kingdom's memories? How poetic would it be to make the old kingdom's remnants have to fight their once-great ally, the Silver knight, or should I say, Zodiac?"

" A splendid idea, Green knight. Go, Zodiac, find the traitors to my new regime, and eliminate them."

I heard the command of my king, and I chuckled evilly.

"Your command will be done, my lord."

I used my sword to rip a hole into the dimensions, and I crossed through them to the field where my old friend Captain Le was to train his lancers. I saw them, and I began to laugh as I ripped through them one at a time, making my way to Captain Le. Wait.... Captain Le? What in- No... My dark lord commands me to do so, and so I shall. This power may bring back the woman I lost....

" By the order of King Almare, you will cease and surrender, or DIE."

I roared towards my once-closest friend, and I readied my sword.

Capt. Le turned to face his corrupted comrade.

"And by orders of the High Guard-Corpavale agreement, we the High Guard have no quarrel with you. Our intercontinental protocol dictates that we will not interfere with Corpavalian matters so I suggest you return back to your Lord before I detonate this bomb."

Behind Capt. Le was a bomb measured to epic proportion. It's function was unknown to both Zodiac and Sir Ryan and Capt. Le is quite sure of himself in this situation. In fact, he could be the creator of this weapon.

"Cmdr. Ryan, though you are not properly initiated, I still hold the superior officers right to order you to flee. Take all the remaining lancers with you back to Lady Tia. They should offer some assistance."

And with that Sir Ryan and the remaining reinforcements left through his use of shadow travel leaving Capt. Le with Zodiac.

A bomb? Really? Is that the BEST you can do, captain? You've known me for the longest time and all you have for me is a bomb?

He chuckled and lowered his scimitar.

" I just want you to desist and surrender captain. No need for useless bloodshed here. Just give up. I need this power to bring her back, you know... The woman I loved. I wont simply let this chance pass away.

He looked intently at the little bomb that the captain set up behind him, and chuckled.

"And that Bomb of yours is not all that well used, right? It's something in which I distinctly remember that would annihilate anything within the next fifty miles, no? Whatever happened to your code of honor? To not let innocents be hurt? Bah. If you set it off, I can still escape. Not even the famous Captain of the Commonwealth can help people out of the blast radius."

He began encircling the captain and his bomb, smiling.

"You may call me a monster for now... but you know the truth. I'm no monster anymore, just a demon ahead of the curve."

I began to laugh, and charged at my old friend. This was going to be absolutely hilarious.

They were out of the forest now, and swiftly making their way to Minvilor. Yes, the group was almost there now. Lady Tia could feel it; could feel the presence of her twin sister. Now, she broke off into a run in the direction where her sister waiting for the group. "TARA!"

"Sister!" Tara runs towards Lady Tia, and tackles her to the ground with a hug. "I'm soooooo glad you're here! Do you know how worried I was? Sparkele said everything would be fine for your arrival, but I was nearly bouncing in my pants waiting for you guys! Jeesh! Well, I should show you all the way to Fief Minvilor. C'mon, it's this way." Tara strolls off, linking arms with Lady Tia.

His old friend charged at him with incredible speed that...HE PASS THROUGH HIM!!! Capt. Le turned around and smiled.

"Oh what do you know I'm not dead. But unfortunately you have the wrong person."

Capt. Le suddenly changed form into a holographic representation of a woman in a High Guard uniform.

"My Captain is unavailable at this time. Allow me to introduce myself, I am Hope, AI of the High Guard warship Lancers Hope. This bomb you see before you is not a weapon of mass destruction for it's a temporal bomb. A device created by my Captain to transport living beings back in time. The blast radius can be easily adjusted by me to expand to the planet."

And the hologram, Hope, disappear in a blink of an eye just like that. As for the bomb...3...2...1...0. *Energy surge expanding to all of Corpavale, while it's citizens didn't feel or see a thing* As soon as the energy wave expands to it's maximum set radius, Corpavale transports to an all white plane of existence.

Temporal Bomb: "PHASE i COMPLETE."

Rushing back to Lady Tia with only a few dozen men, Sir Ryan was there within 5 hours.

"Milady...very...troubling news.."

Sir Ryan gasps for breath.

"Oh man...I think this can wait a bit longer...i only have a few dozen men..and a few men from the High Guard. A crimson like knight ambushed us. We barely got away."

Sir Ryan sits down as do the reinforcements.

"Not my best day."

Lady Tia covers her eyes with her right hand; a tired, resigned gesture, like she didn't know what to do anymore. "... Sir Ryan. You didn't need to come here... Nor did your re-" She glances at the men behind Sir Ryan. "... Men. We don't want any unwanted attention at this location. This place right now, is the most important place in the kingdom, and the most dangerous to be. You know why? 'Cause the king is here. The rightful king... None of that matters now. What's done is done." Lady Tia paced around for a few seconds. She turned back to Sir Ryan. "Were you followed?" Without waiting for an answer, she went to where she and Tara would be staying.


That night, when she and the others were in the main hall of the fief -which was being used as a common room for everyone to be in- Lady Tia sat a little apart from everyone else, immersed in her own thoughts with a blank expression on her face.

Tara saw her twin sister lost in her own little world across the room. Tia had probably separated herself from the others unconsciously. Staring at her sister, Tara ran a few possibilities through her head. After shrugging, she made her way across the room towards Tia. Plunking herself into the chair next to her twin got a reaction from her. She sent a troubled look to Tara, then pulled her knees to her chin to rest her head. There they sat, surrounded by a veil of silence.

Unable to take the silence any longer, Tara tried a special mental communication with her sister; a bond between twins that absolutely nobody could penetrate. She slid her probe easily into her sister's mind. Tia? What's wrong? You look troubled. After all that has happened in the blink of an eye, are you possibly thinking what I'm thinking?

"Milady, I am all for one on attacking with my reinforcements only. If we were followed then we can lead them to some other hidden area...My living quarters since it is vast. Afterwards we will attack the palace. Probably you will refuse this but in light of what has happened it seems like a plan. Keeps the king safe and feels like a time to strike."

Sir Ryan waited anxiously for an answer.

"Otherwise I could go and spy on the enemy by myself and send info."

Lady Tia had heard Sir Ryan's reply when she was walking away. Now though, as she sat next to her twin sister Tara, she sent a menacing glare in Sir Ryan's direction as a reply to his requests from earlier. The message in her expression was as clear as if she had said it aloud: You will do no such thing.

Turning her head to Tara after their special mental communication had been established, she hesitated before replying. ..... If you are thinking about our birth parents dying at the hands of King Almare of Magrar, then you are exactly thinking what I'm thinking. Lady Tia turned her head away again and stared at the wall moodily.
