"By your leave." He said, still smiling. To tell her or to not...

"Ah shucks, kings first ^_^"..."

"Bah, you go ahead." He said, shaking his head. "Besides, who to say that I wont run off the second I get out of here?"

A menacing glint entered Lady Tia's eyes. "People that just got back from the brink of death last ^_^..."

"Oh, playing that card, are ya?" He said with a grin. "Fine, as you wish."

"Well off you go!"

"Okay, see ya!" He said, running out the door. As soon as he got outside he quickly hid inside of a bush to make it look like he ran off somewhere. Not the best hiding place, but hopefully it'll work...

Lady Tia already predicted what the king would do, and had sent two sparrows after him. One came back for her leading the way. The king was hiding in a bush. She grinned. "What'cha doing in the bush, sire?"

"Bah, you found me too easily!" He whined as he stood up from the bush. Emrik then proceeded to brush off the leaves and dirt off of his clothes. "I really should have ran off somewhere."

"Hah, do you really don't get that much sleep?" He asked Tia after hearing what Namort said. "That really isn't too healthy, even I wouldn't pass up sleep for one of my outrageous quests." Despite what he said, Emrik seemed to show no concern at all as all he did was cross his arms and smirk.

Lady Tia's face remained expressionless. She wouldn't let the shock show on her face. How does he know I don't get much sleep... Not that it matters either way.. She turned to face the king. "Hah. What are you talking about? Of course I get sleep."

"Alright, whatever you say." He said, his smirk turning to a smile. "Now then, back to what's really important... How did you find me so easily?"

Lady Tia looks at the king with a strange look on her face. She smiles thinly. All she says is, "I have eyes."

"You have eyes, huh?" He said, a look of disbelief spreading across his face. "Good enough for me!" Emrik's expression turned back into his usual look of amusement.

He doesn't even know the half of it... Lady Tia gives a polite smile. "Would you like to go riding on one of the trails outside of Levra?"

"Why of course!" He said, his smile growing bigger. "That is, if you're sure that you want to put me on a mountable creature." Emrik's smile then turned into a sly one as he thought of ways to go on another little adventure.

Lady Tia sighs. "Sire, I can see the gears whirling in your head... You plan to go through with one of your schemes aren't you. Well there's no need to run off on your horse to complete that. We're going to help one of the villages outside the city. Someone sent word that rogue centaurs are trying to raid the village, and take the children."

"Hah, no problem!" He said as he unsheathed the Hell Breaker and swung it around. "They shall fall to my sword!"

"Well let's be off then! Don't make me regret bringing you along..." Lady Tia sighs mentally and pats Rubycrusher to start trotting down the trail.

"Hah, don't worry, I just need to get a horse." He said, running off to his stable. "Mainly cause Ren isn't big enough to ride long distances!" Emrik yelled over his shoulder.

.... Lady Tia waits at the start of the trail for the king. She mutters to herself. "I hope it's not too late to help the villagers. Especially the children..."

It didn't take too long before Emrik came riding a magnificent black horse. "Alright, let's go!" He didn't wait for a reply, he only hurried on ahead.

Rubycrusher catches up to King Emrik with ease. Chuckling, Lady Tia says, "Sire, you don't even know which village it is. Sorry to say, but you won't be in the lead. Try to keep up!" She and Rubycrusher race off to the village. Lady Tia looks behind her and sticks her tongue out. "Bleeeaaahhh!!"

"Bah, it shouldn't matter where I should go!" He yelled. "If I keep going in one direction, I will always go where I am needed! Let's go Shadowmare." He patted his horse lightly, which at this point seemed counter-productive.
