Yeah, as I've said before, Leechgrave is tough.
I don't know of any magical weakness it may have, and walking up to it is basically suicide without taking out the claws around it first.
So... yeah, take care of the claws around it first, I'd recommend blizzard for 'em.

By "claw" do you mean the leg looking things that hold it up? Or the ones that just pop up everywhere and bite you?

The ones that pop up everywhere, destroy those first.
Once you do, Leechgrave will just lie still for a while, allowing for free hits until he arises once again to wreak havoc on your HP.

Again, running up to it otherwise is practically suicide, I doubt that even the awesomeness that is my Mickey can do it.
