Well, I figured that I could either charge people $5 per word or start some sort of tax system.

Argh, guard armors are very difficult to figure out...
Just smash away at it's head till it falls off, then hit it some more, and then it will send it's appendages at you.
Just destroy as much as you can (destroying them all would be perfect) until it calls 'em back and smash away at it's head some more.
Rinse and repeat.

Remember: Cure is awesome.

...Oh, please don't tell me you're fighting the Leechgrave, that's one of the tougher bosses in the game.

If you are, take care of the little tentaclaw things around it first, it'll bring the boss down to a vulnerable state in which you can just pound away at it.
Just stock up on the best spell in the game: Cure

If I find out you're fighting something else I'll give different advice.

It's probably the most annoying enemy in the game.
Certainly not the hardest boss, just certainly the most annoying.
I believe you don't fight it until somewhere in the 300's, but I'll go grab my copy right now to confirm.

I've been switching between Larxene and Xion. >_< So I guess I can't really answer that.

Multiple people work too, when I do mission mode alone I will also use Saix and Sora.
I use Mickey with other because
1. He's just plain awesome
2. His high magic skill makes Curaga much more useful to my friends that are of such lower level than I am, such as you (Is level 75 and growing)
