Return or Renewal?

It has been almost two years since I was last online (Monday; Octuber 11, 2010; 23:31). I was sifting through a list of fantasy-based RP Forums the other day and I thought to myself "perhaps I should visit the old forum." I am glad to see that the old girl is still breathing and slowly gaining strength from the posts I've been reading. The question is, "Will she continue to grow stronger or is this just a last burst of new ideas and temporal availability of her long standing members?" At any rate I was hoping, if the king's champion and the king would be incline to grant me this request, for a return to the Kingdom of Corpavale and, if possible, a character renewal. Not an account renewal but just character, perhaps start a new introduction if willing.

As any of you may have noticed that my current character, Assassin Suffragius, sounds well beyond this Kingdom's desired genre based RP. The library as well as some recorded dialogues between characters appear out of place. As I look back at the past - reading old posts and memorable topics and events - I instantly recognized my young ignorant, controlling, and imaginative self. Not just in the forum itself but in real life as well. Those were the fun days I must admit, before the extended inactivity and the difficulties of managing an RP life and our personal lives of course. And now listen to me, I sound like an old man haha. Maturity does wonders to the mind, the body, and the soul. But I only aged a couple of years, it's no biggie.

I will also welcome the newest addition to the Kingdom, Aya Kurosaki. May your new ideas contribute in keeping this forum alive.

It's cool Malchiore. I only just got on since last I sent this message. I figured it would take some time before someone comes by and reads that message. Now I'm halfway there. I've already begun sifting through the library and taking out topics that are irrelevant to the forum. As soon as Tia comes on and if she grants my request, I'll start reforming my character, delete some old posts (Assassin Suffragius took part in some events), and start a new intro after the library reform. I should have it done by next week though.

I thank you. I just wish people have more time you know? To role-play and such instead of worrying about reality and personal drama that makes life so difficult. Missing the old days when we took part in many events and balls. Now we have stockpiled homework and trying to get into the best colleges just to get a piece of paper saying you got a so and so degree in a so and so subject.

People say you have to grow up eventually. But that doesn't mean you can't retain some form of innocence. Some form of playfullness. What's the point of living if you don't know how to relax. You know? Got to let the mind wander and wonder once in a while. No harm in it.

Yeah, I know what you mean. One great ability to learn for life, I find, is the ability to make small chunks of time during the day. One post a day shouldn't put anyone too far behind, in my experience.

True in any RP Forum. One post a day is ideal. Multiple people online at the same time to continue a story, preferable. If only time was more manageable or if we could extend time. More time to sleep. More time to eat. More time to finish homework. Or be able to split your self into many... naw then it'll just be a lot of the same person doing who knows what, damaging whatever is left of your peaceful life. Still it would be nice. So what have you been up to for the past two years or so? What has been going on in your life.

I've been fine. College is much easier than high school if only because you get to choose your own schedule. Time is also very manageable depending on how valuable sleep is to you. Even now I never sleep until 2 or 3 am, just to wake at 6.

How have you been?

After high school I essentially took a year off. Enrolled into the community college in January taking only one class b/c I still have a lot of things to finish before I fully commit to a full college student life. I'm taking Astronomy b/c the college I'm at doesn't have Architecture classes. Only at another school in another district which requires a car to get there. I got my license about two weeks ago but no personal car as of yet. Since graduation and up to last week, I've been sleeping for 14 hours a day sleeping at 07:00 to 08:00 in the morning and waking up at 14:00 to 15:00 in the evening.

Nowadays I'm balancing school work, some started written stories from high school and college, visiting old schools, sleep, and some other projects that I also started in high school, architectural designs (floorplans mostly), forming another RP game, and a mission to become physically fit at an average level b/c I want to join the Army after I get a degree in a field in Architecture.

As of yesterday I've purge everything from the library except the Directory. Library will be temporarily closed until my character is reformed. Then again no one ever added anything in there except me anyway. LOL I sound like a Time Lord from Dr. Who.

My, you've certainly got a lot to do. I wish you the best on all of them!

And I look forward to the restoration of the library. Perhaps I'll add something myself once you're done.
