My friend told me that it frustrated her so much to move around on Mabi, so she gave up O_o

Really now? I don't find it all too frustrating. Movement in Mabi is controlled via: Click on a spot, your character moves there. I personally would have preferred arrow keys... But that's besides the point.
...Unless she's talking about memorizing all the places, even then I don't find it all that hard. Oh well, if you need help you can ask me. I'm not an expert, but... nyeh >_>

Actually she was talking about the click on a spot. It drove her crazy. I was over at her house once when she was playing it, and she started yelling at her computer cause the movements were so restricted

Well, if you continue to hold down the click your character will continually move in that direction... No real need for constant clicking. But hey, I'm not everybody.
